SEASON 2020 - 2021

TANGO FACTORY present the new course cycle 2020 -2021

1st Semester: From 16th September to 28th January

Although the name might suggest otherwise, TANGO FACTORY is a school on a human size. We like to see each student as a part of our tango family.

 Our priority is the quality of the courses, for this reason we work on 3 aspects:

1 - We have a limit of 10 couples for group courses and 5 couples for semi-private courses. This allows us to visit each couple several times during the classes, in order to advise each couple as well as on an individual basis. In addition, teachers do not only talk and explain to students, they also dance with them;

 2- The quality of our teachers: they all have a great pedagogical experience;

3- The themes and didactic of the courses are programmed in advance:  we set objectives for each term and then develop them throughout the term course by course. In other words, the courses are programmed and designed organically for the entire term and not individually from week to week. Each course consists of two parts: a first technical part; a second part characterised by the development of the figure we are working on and in which we apply the technique worked on in the first part of the course.

You may think of stretching as something performed only by runners or gymnasts. But we all need to stretch in order to protect our mobility and independence. "A lot of people don't understand that stretching has to happen on a regular basis.

MILONGA & VALS

  • Wednesdays 21:25 - 22:25

Level: Intermediate & Advanced

Milonga & Vals are rhythms that are practiced in a milonga (tango ball).  Its special characteristic is when you go from step to step, if you let yourself be carried away by its attractive rhythm, you will discover a pleasant effect while you dance, it will be what makes the difference in a Tango evening.

Normally, Milonga and Vals are taught as workshops in festivals or specific events. Our proposal is to study in a continuous and progressive way, so that you can incorporate these rhythms as your own.

Milonga

Milonga is the type of Tango Music that's playful and rhythmical - not to be confused with Milonga, the social place where people get together to dance. The rhythm of a Milonga is quite distinct compared to regular Tango. This makes it important to distinguish how to dance the Milonga from regular Tango.

Tango Vals

Tango Vals has a flowing 1—2—3, 1—2—3... rhythm to it. Dancing to Tango Vals involves creating a beautiful flow to the dance, a specific cadence, suspensions and more. Dancing to Tango Vals is a joyful experience.

Our tango coach is focused on disarming the structures of each student, analysing individually the details, and marking a deeper difference on the understanding of movement and body . Each person has a different physique and each one needs a different attention. This individual work allows the student to develop his own tango, his musicality and work in a deeper connection.
