TANGO FACTORY present the new course cycle 2020 -2021
Although the name might suggest otherwise, TANGO FACTORY is a school on a individual level. We like to see every student as a dancer in our tango family.
Our priority is the quality of the courses, for this reason we work on 3 aspects:
1 - We have a limit of 10 couples for group courses and 5 couples for semi-private courses. This allows us to visit each couple several times during the classes, in order to advise each couple as well as on an individual basis. In addition, teachers do not only talk and explain to students, they also dance with them;
2- The quality of our teachers: they all have a great pedagogical experience;
3- The themes and didactic of the courses are programmed in advance: we set objectives for each term and then develop them throughout the term course by course. In other words, the courses are programmed and designed organically for the entire term and not individually from week to week. Each course consists of two parts: a first technical part; a second part characterized by the development of the figure we are working on and in which we apply the technique worked on in the first part of the course.

ABSOLUT BEGINNERS & BEGINNERS COURSE

This is a course dedicated to transmit the bases and knowledge of Tango dance and introducing you to its magnificent cultural universe, in a fun and pleasant context. We will teach you to dance creatively and freely, to strengthen your body awareness and attention to others in the connection of the abrazo (embrace), to express the beauty and strength of your body and to listen to music to be inspired by its notes.

BEGINNERS 2 COURSE

This course is aimed at those who already have some experience. We will review the basics of the tour and then go deeper into the theme and explore the many possibilities of the ball.

The essential of tango.
A course to deepen the technical elements of embrace, connection with the partner and with the floor. We will start with simple structures and course after course we will arrive at complex combinations. The sequences will be an opportunity to test and improve the technical basis. Each course will be preceded by technical exercises for individuals or couples.

Objective: to improve the creativity in dance while respecting circular or linear structures and CADENAS in the WALTZ

SEMI-PRIVATE COURSE
EVERY TWO WEEKS -Thursday 20:30 - 21:45

Enjoy an intensive course of 1h15, cheaper than a private course, more effective than a group course and where teachers work specifically with each couple.
Musical interpretation and channeling of energy in dance.
The objectives of the course will be:
Mejorar la improvisacion en la “La Variación” ? It’s a variation of the musical theme. Each piece of Tango Music has a major theme, and that theme can be ‘varied’, hence the term. La Variacion happens in a very specific place within the music. Usually near the end of the piece about 30 seconds before the end of music. Not all compositions posses one but a good portion of them do. Sometimes this variation will run at double time, sometimes even faster than that. A good indicator that you’re hearing La Variación is to listen for when the musical instruments, and in specific the bandoneons, ‘go crazy’. They seemingly speed up to an ungodly fevered pitch and tempo.

2nd series:Thursday 16 – 30 of January, 13 – 27 of February , 12 - 26 of March.
